In our law firm I am the head of the energy law and environmental law practice and consult on matters related to EU funds. My interests focus on Polish and EU regulations in the areas of energy, environmental protection, and public aid.

Magdalena provides comprehensive legal service to Polish and international companies in the energy, chemical, manufacturing and real estate sectors in the regulatory, investment, environmental, contract and public aid areas.

She has participated in a number of transactions involving the acquisition or sale of projects in the energy sector (in particular renewable energy sources), including due diligence of projects and energy companies needing to raise financing or in relation to M&A transactions. She also advises businesses in the energy sector in proceedings before the Court of Justice of the European Union and the President of the Energy Regulatory Office. Her track record also includes legal support for projects deployed with the use of public funds, including advice on the granting and utilization of EU funds and representing clients in disputes with entities providing assistance or advice on maintaining the sustainability of projects.

Doctor of legal sciences and graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw. Member of the Warsaw Bar Association. She has worked for the largest reputable law firms. Presently, she is an assistant professor in the Department of European Law at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw. She is the author of a number of publications concerning Polish and European environmental law, public aid, and the power sector. She is also a speaker at industry conferences in this field. Committed to educational activities, she is a mentor in the Academy of Female Business Leaders run by the Lesław Paga Foundation.
